Our modern Alaska fishing lodge is located in the heart of the Katmai National Park 40 miles NE of the town of King Salmon Alaska, World famous for Alaska fishing trips and Alaska bear viewing tours. Alaska Adventures fishing lodge accommodates 16 guests comfortably with a private carpeted Panabode lodge cabin that accommodates 2 or 4 guests. Amenities include a main dining room/recreation area offering a tv-dvd player, satellite phone for your safety and a fly tying area fully stocked, along with modern hot showers, flush toilets and a traditional Alaska wood fired sauna.

The 2009 summer Fishing Lodge season is over here on the upper Alagnak River and
we are happy to report another great strong finish for our worldclass fishing
program. This past week had a group from France and from PA here having some great
Silver Salmon and Giant Trout fishing to end the season. We also filmed a documentary
on Alaska Fishing and Bear viewing with the equivalent to BBC but the french version
TV show to be aired in Febuary and March throughout France. We got some of the
biggest trout of the year this week with 8 giant Trout landed from 27-31 inches
for our group of anglers,although the late season numers are down some fishing
for Pig Rainbows is the Payoff. 80% of our SIvers are turning Pink and the trout
where feeding on Fleshflies and Articulated leaches. I big Kudos goes out to our
excellent staff of returning professional guides, Capt Moe,Capt Pat,Capt Pete,Capt
Scott,Capt Brent,Capt Charlie ,Capt Phil and Capt Justin as they are all planning
on returning next season, for most of them it will make 4-8 years with us. We
look forward to fishing with many of you again next year. .
